The Department of Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty appointment to begin in August 2014 in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies including, but not limited to specialization in linguistics, history, Deaf Literature, Deaf Culture, and Deaf Studies. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as well as scholarly achievement. Ph.D. required. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for senior faculty.
